Wilderness is a conceptual bas relief that Katrín Ólína developed in collaboration with Finnish furniture company, Choice. Ólína's design solution presents an abstract relief map, digitally generated 3D landscape. The piece is modular and combines solid wood and mirror – a representation of a bird’s eye view of the Land of the thousand Lakes. The artwork serves as a conceptual platform for domestic objects to follow in the near future.

Choice was founded by Lasse Laine, Sebastian Jansson and Niclas Ahlström, based on the common vision and mutual values to create a 21st century urban Scandinavian brand. Choice collaborates with architects and interior designers on site specific projects. With roots in traditions of Finnish woodworks, Made by Choice is a new contemporary furniture company that fuses the spirit of the North with interdisciplinary creative practices.
