Landscape in a Box is a graphic art, mixed media installation by Katrín Ólína at Lynfabrikken in Arhus, Denmark in 2011. BOX is a small exhibition space for designers, architects and craftsmen to develop concepts and experiment with state of the arts printing on carpets in collaboration with Ege.

Katrín Ólína shares a dream like memory of nature in her installation, which she based on an old photograph found in a shoe box. A combination of a trompe l'oeil backdrop, illustrating a mysterious offering from the sky and a set of floating cushions featuring graphic elements of numbers, the project explores the idea of interconnectedness of all things. It conveys awe for the intricate and subtle way in which Nature is put together.
